Business location & regional analyses
Business location and regional analyses encompass various methods with a spatial reference, which we employ separately or in combination depending on the context. The most comprehensive form of analysis is socioeconomic analysis, which supplies a comprehensive picture of the economic and social potentials of a region. In addition, we successfully employ the following analysis formats with a specific focus:
- Network assessment. Identification of business networks in the field of knowledge-intensive services and the high-tech industry from a spatial perspective.
- SWOT analysis. Analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a location or region.
- Impact analysis and scenario development. Assessment of the future impacts especially of new infrastructures on a regional economic fabric, and development of different scenarios.
- Trend analysis. Evaluation of mega-, macro-, and microtrends and their potential impact on the economic fabric of a location.
