BHP has been supporting and advising Cembra Money Bank in the area of sustainability for several years. Together we have managed to break down this comprehensive topic with its ecological, social and economic dimensions and to identify those aspects which are of high relevance for Cembra Money Bank. In this way, we were able to sharpen the internal self-conception in regards of sustainability. In addition, the bank reviewed and discussed its understanding of sustainability with stakeholders as part of a materiality assessment according to the principles of the Global Reporting Initiative.

On this basis, the bank’s sustainability reporting was continuously professionalised. Since the reporting period 2019, Cembra Money Bank has been publishing a sustainability report according to “GRI Core” and thus fulfills an internationally recognised standard.

Besides the constant development of the reporting concept and the sustainability strategy, BHP supports Cembra Money Bank to embed sustainability progressively in the organisation as well as in its core business.
