Village centre development

Brugger + Partner supports the municipality of Ettiswil in creating a future vision and implementation plan for developing its village centre. In cooperation with a stakeholder committee established for that purpose, key topics for the village centre's development have so far been addressed in four workshops, resulting in a 2030/2035 vision with specific goals for each topic and intended impacts. Desired uses were spatially mapped in several variants, two of which were further developed with detailed phasing. During a community participation event, the findings were presented to the public, and interactive feedback was gathered. This input, along with the results of a detailed questionnaire, is now being used to refine the future vision and implementation plan. The situation plans and sketches were developed in partnership with the municipal planner.
