Double materiality assessment and reporting implications
Flughafen Zürich AG (FZAG) owns and operates Switzerland's largest airport, as well as other airports abroad. To further develop the topic of sustainability in a targeted manner, Brugger + Partner supported FZAG in conducting a double materiality analysis.
Brugger + Partner supported FZAG throughout the entire process. This included defining the topics and identifying relevant stakeholders, facilitating workshops and conducting interviews to collect and discuss impacts, risks and opportunities, and evaluating the topics in terms of their materiality. This clear, methodological approach enables FZAG to focus on key sustainability topics, allowing them to further develop strategic areas and reporting in a targeted manner. For the latter, concrete recommendations were derived at the end of the project.
