Integration of sustainability
Since 2017, Brugger + Partner has been supporting BLKB in establishing and systematising sustainability management within the company. Alongside various projects on stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments, and sustainability reporting, we also act as a sparring partner for the sustainability managers. For instance, we are consulted to evaluate new initiatives and frameworks, address stakeholder inquiries, examine communication issues, implement regulatory requirements, or carry out thematic research and analyses.
2023 sustainability report
Brugger + Partner once again supported BLKB with its sustainability reporting for 2023. With the provisions of Articles 964a et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations on non-financial reporting coming into force, it was necessary to meet the new legal requirements. We conducted a gap analysis and, in collaboration with BLKB, explored various options and approaches within the framework of the existing reporting concept. Key changes included additional content and the integration of the group perspective into the report. Additionally, the chapter on climate risks and opportunities was revised and expanded, in alignment with the Ordinance on Climate Disclosures, based on the ongoing measures implemented by the bank.
