With his studies in agricultural sciences and doctorate at ETH, an Executive MBA from Quantic School Business and Technology, and his extensive experience in consulting at a major Swiss bank, he brings profound expertise in addressing the complex issues of our consultancy work.
Matthias combines sustainability from a scientific, economic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven perspective. Thanks to strong IT skills, pronounced visualization abilities, and an engineering mindset, he effectively acts as a bridge between theory and practice. At BHP, Matthias is responsible for strengthening climate-related services such as data management, CO2 accounting, risk analysis, and climate reporting (including TCFD, GRI, SBTi). With his sound, analytical approach and understanding of complex interconnections, he supports our clients in achieving their sustainability and decarbonization goals.
In addition, as a father of two, he finds time to engage in associations and pursue his diverse hobbies such as offshore sailing, family gardening, and playing the saxophone.
