Stefan Lüthi has worked at BHP since 2013 and has been a member of the Board of Directors, partner and member of the Executive Board since 2024.
Stefan has many years of experience in social, economic and environmental policy geared towards sustainability. He specializes in sustainable municipal, urban and regional development, climate policy and strategy development for governments and associations. Based on customized analyses, Stefan evaluates political strategies and programs and supports his public and private clients in formulating and implementing their strategic goals. He combines economic, social, and institutional perspectives and reflects the results in the form of small and large-scale strategy workshops. His clients value his extensive practical experience and his aspiration for straightforward, realizable solutions. In addition to his consultancy work, Stefan teaches regional economics and sustainability at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and is Managing Director of the Zimmerberg-Sihltal location promotion organization.
In his free time, the family man and former track and field athlete enjoys spending time with his family and cycling through the nearby forests and hills around Zurich's local mountain.
