In cooperation with schlaepfer:associates, BHP supported Bank Julius Bär in determining its global carbon footprint. The relevant parameters were surveyed using a questionnaire distributed to the bank's major business locations. The footprint was then used as a basis for outlining measures to reduce emissions in the various areas that produce them. With the help of a cost assessment, these measures were then prioritised. Using the calculation basis produced by schlaepfer:associates and BHP, the bank is now able to prepare a comprehensive emissions report on an annual basis.
