CDP Climate Change Report 2015: Management of greenhouse gas emissions takes root

Climate change is gaining ground as a management issue. About 84% of the German, Austrian, and Swiss companies participating in the CDP Climate Change Program indicate that their company boards have final responsibility for climate protection. Companies are increasingly relying on quantitative reduction targets and are giving their managers appropriate incentives in this regard. About 90% have implemented emissions measures. That is about three times as many as five years ago. These and other positive developments on dealing with climate change are discussed in the CDP Climate Change Report 2015.

This report was published on the occasion of the CDP annual conference and contains the results of the CDP Climate Change Scoring 2015. BHP – Brugger and Partners has already served as an official Scoring Partner for the third year in a row to evaluate the questionnaires of Swiss companies. BHP will now hold feedback meetings with company representatives on the scoring results.
We are especially pleased that two of our clients, Huber & Suhner AG and Nestlé SA, which were evaluated by other scoring partners in the German, Austrian, and Swiss region, meet the criteria for inclusion on the "A List". The A List only includes companies whose performance in the management of climate change is especially noteworthy. Congratulations!
