maxon publishes first sustainability report and Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland switches entirely to rPET
the activities of the family-owned company in accordance with the GRI Standards 2021. Over the past months, BHP has closely accompanied maxon in its materiality and strategy process, the preparation of its key figures, and reporting.
In June 2023, Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland published what is already its 11th sustainability report with the support of BHP. Highlights from the reporting year include CCHBC's full switch to rPET at its production site in Dietlikon. In 2022, Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland also succeeded in closing the circle for non-transparent, green PET bottles: The Vals plant now uses green instead of clear rPET to fill Vals mineral water. The Swiss Packaging Institute (SVI) recognised this achievement with the Swiss Packaging Award.
