Environment, energy, and CO2

"Climate change doesn't concern us, doesn't exist!"

Climate change and the rising demand for limited natural resources are changing our economic, natural, and social environment. Market participants have to deal with increased uncertainty and greater pressure to adapt, for instance in regard to government regulation and dramatic natural phenomena. They are also facing the challenge of decoupling their own growth from the rising demand on natural resources. This requires a systematic approach and fresh, innovative solutions. These solutions not only have to be economically and ecologically efficient, but they also have to be socially acceptable. A key factor for success: sensitised and committed employees and managers.

Systematic and effective

Systematic environmental management encompasses all environmentally relevant aspects of business activity. In addition to energy consumption and CO2 emissions, this includes especially consumption of materials as well as water, waste and waste water, and noise and pollutant emissions. Together with our Associated Partners, we offer companies comprehensive support in their establishment, further development, and verification of tailor-made environmental management processes, with or without ISO 14001 certification. We advise our clients in particular on the development of targeted, effective measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the use of renewable energy sources, and adaptation to climate change. In this regard, we are also able to draw on our experience as an official scoring partner of CDP (2013-2015).

Sensitised and committed employees

Effective environmental management depends crucially on an organisation's employees. This is why we attach special importance to the effective awareness building of employees and management. Thanks to numerous projects, we meanwhile have a practice-oriented toolbox of effective measures at our disposal that can be used to mainstream environmental policy in accordance with the corporate culture.
