BHP has been supporting u-blox since 2023 in the preparation of the Sustainability Report 2023, including workshops with the management, the development of a future-oriented ESG roadmap, the preparation of the greenhouse gas balance according to the GHG Protocol and the global decarbonization strategy. Through a comprehensive gap analysis and stocktaking, BHP identified existing communication and implementation gaps and created a basis for data-based sustainability reporting, including a materiality assessment. The collaboration focused on the strategic integration of sustainability into u-blox's core business, including the definition and review of ESG targets and measures and the development of the decarbonization strategy. BHP's role as a sparring partner and coach contributes significantly to strengthening u-blox's sustainability reporting to meet the requirements of Swiss regulators and investor expectations.
